Darn it! Missed the Doubles Cornhole Championship - Pro qualifiers on ESPN. Pro cornholers? Id this a joke?

I've started getting feeds for the FIA World Rallycross races on FB. Fun races that are only 6 laps, but with lots of action.

Bowyer pits with 15 laps to go and out of the top 10.

It's still Harvick.

Harvick wins at Atlanta. Only 10 cars on the lead lap as the fought for Owner's Points for starting spot draw at Martinsville on Wednesday.

Do we have a back to back winner in iFL? We'll find out on Monday or Tuesday.

Some of the drivers are flat whipped. Bubba Wallace and Ryan Newman are worn out.

When Jamie Little was interviewing Bubba and he was saying he was woozy getting out of the car, talked a bit and his eyes kinda rolled up he began to sink. His crew grabbed him and held him up and she asked if he was OK and I think he tried to say I'm OK. That's when she stopped and passed it back to the booth.

No, I would call it a modified road course.

64 - Bunch of killer bees! LOL

Cup races tomorrow evening at Martinsville. This is the last of the mid-week races until the All-Star race. If weather allows;

The top 12 starters based on Owner's Points and random draw - Blaney will start from the pole, then Almirola, Joey, Bowyer, Truex, Keso, TWT, Bowman, Busch1, Harvick, Elliott and Hamlin.

News and Notes
  • Butts in the seats - Homestead will invite 1000 service members for next Sunday's race and Talladega a week later will release 5000 tickets for the front stretch grandstand to Alabama residents living within 150 miles of the track. Dega will also have 44 RV spots available outside that overlook the track.
  • A new rule may be coming after Truex all but stopped exiting pit road before the stripe while jockeying for a preferred restart position late in the race.
  • Nascar is looking at something about displaying Confederate flags after Bubba Wallace raised the issue.
  • TV ratings - 3.957 million viewers for Sunday's Atlanta race. No Nielsen numbers found. Down last from last year's 5.1 million viewers when it was the 1st race after Daytona which drags extra viewers in a week later.

iBoats Fantasy Live
  • We got the final iFL results and FlaCowboy wins 2 in a row with rib bones flying out of control! No mercy shown! Congrats Cowboy. This one's for you. :first:
  • 64osby is still sitting pretty on top of the iFL leaderboard.
  • iFL roster is open until it locks at 7:20 PM EST.

Good luck everyone,

Humpty

Oh the Martinsville weather! Isolated T storms may begin about 5PM, becoming steady for a couple of hours before going back to isolated.

If the race is postponed, a Thursday running is off the table because Nascar won't have time to move and setup equipment for the 2 X-Races and Cup race at Homestead. 9:30-10 is about the latest the race can start tonight.

As Mike Joy tweeted ;

It takes considerable time to take down, transport, set up and test all of TV, radio and Nascar Officiating (including the pit road officiating system, timing and scoring and all the inspection equipment).

Just in case - Get your iFL rosters set by 7:20 PM EST. Also don't forget that a race is official at halfway, lap 250 tonight, or the end of heat #2 on lap 260, which ever is shortest. So keep an eye on the weather and stay ready to use your garage driver. The heats tonight are at lap 130, 260 and ends on lap 500.

Not at Martinsville tonight. Maybe never cuz there isn't any room at Martinsville, but when RVs are allowed back into the infields........ No idea what the Nascar policy is or will be then.

It's been raining on and off. Currently dry between rain bands.

Joey Gase car failed pre-race inspection not once, not twice, not thrice, not 4 times, but five times! He was starting in 36th, now it will be from the back or 3 spots. And a L1 penalty is coming on on Penalty Day.

This will be the first time for a Cup race under the lights at Martinsville.

NASCAR has eliminated all Confederate flags at their events. I think there might be a backlash...
