So glad Chase made the cut off and Bad Brad didn't.

My weekly picks have been just terrible.

I do have Chase picked to win it all, so I'm holding out, hoping for some small consolation. :facepalm:

RACE WEEKEND!!! We always try to make it out for all of them, but had some other commitments this weekend. We were able to make Friday night's ARCA championship.

My oldest ticked off a rep at the Toyota booth. They had a #18 car on display, and the rep asked him if he wanted to get in. He replied "I don't like the speedy guy Kyle Busch". Rep looked shocked. However, he decided getting a picture in a cup car was cool, regardless of the number on the side.

This was also our youngest's first race at the KS speedway. He had only been to our local dirt track before this. 9 months old, and already obsessed with going fast and turning left.

The coolest part was Saturday night. Admiral and I had a wedding, so the boys were with her folks.

A little backstory on this. When my oldest was a little over a year old, we got him some of the cheap diecasts that they have at Menards. I was watching a race, and he was excited to learn that HIS cars were on TV. So that day he became a fan of both Paul Menard and Ryan Blaney.

I saw on the Menards Racing Instagram that there was going to be a driver appearance, and her folks surprised the boys with it on Saturday evening. I'm bummed I missed it, but so happy that it got to happen, and that they'll have a grandparent experience to look back on for years to come. Can't beat the smile of a 4 year old meeting his hero!!!

Boring results to report outta Kansas. FlaCowboy won again! Sixth time this year and two in a row for the playoffs. Can we play, FC? :blue: Congrats and here it is - Hope you reinforced the mantle! :first:

Cowboy is also running away with the overall title. He tacked on another 28 points over 2nd place.


Cup and Trucks will be racing at Martinsville on Saturday and Sunday. No elimination races in either series. X-Men are off this week and return at Texas.
