For the FINAL restart - The leaders are Harvick, Truex, Elliott, Bowyer and Keso to take the green flag. Harvick has been having great restarts. He's had plenty of practice today!

Newman's front end looks like a casualty of rush hour. But he is 3 points above the cut off after Almirola had to pit.

The final (???) restart is waved off for a red flag to clean oil off the track.

During this red flag, he did a Uie and drove backwards down pit road and parked his car in the garage. He can't improve his playoff spot and he's in. So he just gives up!

6 laps left when green waves for the last time!

Elliott to 2nd and tight to Harvick. Elliott to the front.

Bowman to 2nd past Harvick as he fights to make the playoffs. Elliott is 1.5 secs. ahead with 4 to go.

Almirola right behind Newman as they fight for the final playoff spot. And they switch spots.

The final lap is something else. After Elliott gets the white flag, Suarez another car get together and it stays green.

Elliott wins his 3rd race this year. The glue held up!

Newman missed and owes a 30 second penalty for cutting the chicane exit - I think it was the exit.

Elliott does his burnout right at the spot where he smacked the tire wall on the 3rd stage restart. Then jumped out of the car and it drifted across the track to the inside wall as he chased after it. Guess that's why his name is Chase. LOL

Newman, Almirola, BigBro and Jones eliminated.

OH NO! iFL is tied! 4th time this year! Humpty is waiting for Nascar to finalize iFL results.

I get so tired of reading messages from people that really have no understanding of what NASCAR was like, Alex was Down, Bubba should have waited, but it is what it is. I have seen a hell of a lot worse after a race is over.

I was a little off with my description Elliott's burnout. He stood on the driver side window opening as the drifted backwards. I missed that live, but I guess Nascar thought it was cool. LOL;

Humpty said 4 ties out of 29 races is way too many. He is accepting suggestions for breaking ties. The only valid form is 2.61 inches wide x 6.14 inches long with red and blue synthetic fibers of various lengths distributed evenly throughout the paper.

FlaCowboy still has a narrow lead in in the overall standings. Only 9 points separate first and second place. I smell a smoker!

This weekend Cup and X-Men will be running at Dover.
