Hi, my friend got a 2015 Ranger 621 with 300 Verado. Came with a 20 pitch 4 blade prop. He is getting bad hole shots, and only getting 4800RPM WOT. Merc website says should 5800-6400WOT. I read there could be something wrong with the engine, and that it shouldn't be that far off, with the current 20 pitch Even if he dropped to a 19, he would only gain 200-300 RPM and still wouldn't be even close to the published WOTs RPMs. Any thoughts?
