Hey guys, new to the forum and the four stroke outboard world. Got a few questions and hoping someone has played with a few. I recently bought a new Jon boat it's a 16 ft camo xpress with a yamaha f50 four stroke fuel injected tiller. Electric trim, 14 pitch ss prop, I'm adding the cmc break away plate which will move it back and up and get it in a little cleaner water, and I have already removed the restrictor plate and changed the rubber grommet it in to the 60 hp grommet. The boat runs great and has plenty of power, but when is enough ever really enough? I'd like to gain a few more ponies with this motor but don't know a whole lot about these new four strokes them being counter controlled and all. So my question is are there any performance mods to satisfy my speed addiction lol? Not really wanting to build an all out race motor just a little hot Jon boat, and by the way the whole restrictor plate mod is a real gain u can feel. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
