I was leaning to buying boat with a 4 stroke engine. However, I ame across a boat with a 2014 150 hp Eninrude etec engine with 220 hours. I read about the engine and the it seems that the it has more pros than the 4 stroke Yamaha. Low end torque, lighter, same fuel consumption, and quiet.
Not sure if this all true and everyone is buying 4strokes.
I welcome any comments.

Your missing the part about adding $35 of oil to every 50 gallons of fuel

Evinrude (BRP) is out of the outboard business. The motor no longer supported by the manufacturer

Two very good points. Somehow I missed the obvious about the oil and didn't know about evinrude being out of the outboard business. 4 stroke all the way.
Thanks
