A while ago I noticed my guardian warning horn would occasionally emit a little squawk when I hit a big wave. All engine conditions are normal and cooling and oil pressure are fine. Slowly it happened more and more so I unplugged the horn. I have vessel view on my motor so it gave me a warning that my warning horn had a problem and I should service the engine soon. Now when I plugged the horn back in it beeps continuously and I can't silence it. The engine is running fine and oil pressure, water temp and rpm are normal. Just a continuous annoying beep for no reason.
The warning beeper seems to get it's signal directly from the ECM. Has anyone seen this issue before? Is there a way to reset the ECM? Is my ECM defective?
Thanks in advance.
