Figured I would give a review of the 2010 Q5I for any one that is looking at getting a Tahoe. I have had this boat for about 2 weeks now and have been out on it 6 times. It has the 220 motor, snap in carpet, bow and **** pit cover, wake board tower and bimini top.

I love this boat, it handles great at high speeds, has more than enough room for my family of 4 plus friends. It planes out fast and is a smooth ride. Has a big swim plat form, plenty of storage, and pulls a 220# man with no issues. When we upgrade to a bigger boat we will for sure be looking at the Q8.

I have not had any real issues with the boat. It does wander at slow speeds, but not that big of a deal for me. I hear smart tabs will fix that. It only does this when you are cruising for awhile. It is not an issue when putting back on trailer or docking as the space is limited that you travel. I have a new issue now with the snap in carpet. In the back the snap is ripping out of the carpet and has created a hole. Will contact the tracker dealer and see what they say.

Overall my family and I love this boat. It is not the biggest or the smallest. Great boat to teach my wife how to handle and the kids. I would recommend Tahoe and this boat to my friends. Hope this helps anyone looking at the Tahoe brand or more specific this boat.

Good to hear you like it. Did you have a previous boat that you are comparing to? With only 6 uses, I imagine you don't have it fully broken in yet so haven't gone WOT. It seems all I/O's wander at low speeds. If you quit correcting it you may find that it actually goes in a straight line with a bit of a zig zag. It took me a couple of no-wake zones to figure it out since my O/B bowrider doesn't wander at all.

I have not had it WOT yet. I have hit 54 on GPS, but the throttle was not all the way down. I can not imagine that it would go to much faster, but we had a light load and the water was perfect conditions. I am getting used to the wandering. Only time it bothers me is when I am crusing around a marina and dont want to swerve all around the real expensive house boats.

I am comparing it to a Skeeter fishing boat. Have never had a I/O before. It is different that is for sure.

Things are pretty quiet here in the Tahoe forum. I hated seeing that last topic as the first thing you see when you came to the forum. Hope everyone is doing well and you are enjoying your Tahoe. Now that Fall is here, I'm sure the fishing or modification questions will start to come in. Looking forward to talking with all of you.
