Past few times I took my boat out my 25 hp merc 2010 efi 4 stroke would start to die at high speed and then suddenly it got to where it wouldn't start at all now.
I've checked compression and fuel filters to make sure it was any junk and changed spark plugs but im thinking maybe its either the fuel pump or the fuel vapor seperator?
How would I test these to see if they were working? The disabled veteran I bought the motor from said he had recently paid 1k to have the seperator rebuilt so im thinking maybe the fuel pump but I'd like to make sure before I spend 150 bucks on a fuel pump or 700 on a fuel vapor seperator.
