Just bought a gently used 2008 215 Tahoe deck boat with a 4.3 liter V6 carburated i/o. There are several drain holes in the transom and I an not sure what they are all for. Have owned several other boats but they have all been outboards with a simple single drain plug that is removable. Tahoe boats don't come with an owner's manual (do they?) and understandably, the Mercruiser engine manual that came with the boat is not helpful in this regard.

There are five inlets/outlets - one with a grate, one with a brass plug, two openings that have stainless trim rings around them, and a final one that is black plastic and has inner threads which makes me think a plug of some sort should be here. Should this black plastic threaded unit have some sort of plug in it?? The boat does have a bilge pump and a live well.

Any help as to what all these inlets/outlets do would be most appreciated.

The brass will be connected to the engine oil drain tube. One silver will be your livewell drain, the other silver will be the aft deck compartment drain. The black threaded will be your live well pickup. The other one with the black screw out plug will be your actual drain, which you take out when out of the water and back in before back in the water.
