Hi, just bought an 08 RXT-X 255, took it out and it ran flawlessly. Next day with my two kids on back, we stopped after riding 10 mins and it would not start. Long story short, it was the end of our day.
Could it be related to interchanging the two keys? Learner and DESS? Trying too many times? Or perhaps flooding, or activating the drowning mechanism if throttle depressed. Nevertheless, it didn't reset or anything and will not start. Any ideas on where I went wrong?
Also wonder if battery charge could be involved, although I checked it after and it looked like 11.5 volts.
Just joined the forum. Love my machine but want it to be reliable...... obviously I need to read up more on this type of engine and the quirks.
