2008 Q4 Delamination Problem

Just had my Q4 (less than 25 hours runtime) un-winterized and the mechanic tells me I have delamination occuring in the ski locker as well as in the engine bay where the motor mounts. In looking further, the engine mount area is more cracked than separating as is in the locker area. There's a 3+ foot jagged separation. Anyone else experienced this? Of course, the warranty period has just expired. Taking back to the dealer to see what recourse there is. We love the boat.
thanks.

Mine has had a seperation crack on the starboard side of the engine compartment since new. It has not changed at all to date. My dealer said it is normal but I am a little concerned. Let me know what your dealer tells you. I may be emailing Tracker my self in the near future.

Re: 2008 Q4 Delamination Problem

I took the Q4 into the Dealer on Saturday. They agree that this should not have occurred (they've never seen it happen in a Tahoe before!) and appears to be related to removing the boat from the mold too soon. They stressed that it was cosmetic and would not interfere with the integrity of the boat and suggested I run it through the summer and bring it in when we're done for the season. All the work (including pulling the engine) is covered under the hull warranty. I asked for (and received) documentation stating all that they were promising. We actually took the boat out Sunday without issues.

Mjrinva, can you post a pic of this? I'd love to see what it looks like.
