Model DF25 02502f 8825
The port cyl. is covered in oil.
Comp is 180X2
Won't fire on port cyl.
Will run on the stbd.
Good spark on both plugs.
I believe the valve stems seals are leaking.

Anyone run into this kind of problem?
My cutomer just bought this boat after it
sat for 10+ years.
From the looks of the piston it burned a LOT
of oil when it was first new.
The motor looks absolutely brans new.
Not even a scratch on the skeg.

FOUND THE PROBLEM
I, opened it up.
At the base of the intake manual on each branch( V-twin) is a gasket.
The port side(the problem side) 35-40% of that gasket was missing.
Allowing huge amounts of oil to feed right into the intake.

I have a factory service manual on the way.
Not sure it will get here before the parts to re-assemble
do.
Question is ??what's the torque value on the head bolts?
It needed a lot to undo them and I want to re-assemble
this right.
