2008 115 optimax trim problems

I have a 08 115 optimax with prop in down position, gauge reads full up, trim motor will run if switched to down at helm and motor but no response for up . I have checked relay OK could this be a calibrator problem

no the trim gauges doesn't affect the trim. swap relays and see if the problem changes. as both switch's are doing the same thing it sounds like a bad relay. as for the trim gauge check all the ground connections and also check the sensor is not jammed
