2007 West Marine....Yea or Nay?

a friend just offered me his 2007 West Marine Zodiac (PVC) RIB with trailer and 2008 Mercury 25 HP outboard for 4,500....

I like the trailer and outboard, not sure about a 5 year old PVC boat. The friend is very meticulous about his boats...he always covered the boat, stored it in his garage... The seams and transom are solid...never stored it in the sun....always used in Michigan...

Opinions? thoughts?

What model boat? The engine is worth around $1500.00. If it is a boat without a steering wheel, figure around $1000.00 for the boat.
