2007 Mercruiser 4.3 L MPI - Oil in bilge, not tons, but enough

That would be the easiest fix ever! Glad they found it.

We took it out and ran it around the lake for about 15 minutes or so yesterday. No obvious oil anywhere. I'm going to go check after work today and see if it's fixed.

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I went and checked this evening after work. NO OIL in the bilge! I'm so glad it wasn't a true engine problem! This baby is up for sale ASAP. Time to buy a true, dedicated ski tug! I can sell with a clear conscience now!

I miss having a ski machine. Nothing like it for slicing up the water. Congrats on the fix.

It was a HUGE relief to find out it was something so simple!

I know what you mean about a ski machine! My current boat can pull me up on slalom pretty easily. However, not nearly as easy as an actual ski boat for sure! The biggest thing is that the wake on my boat is RIDICULOUS! I just can't slalom as hard as I want to with the big wake. I think it will sell easily early next year as wakeboarding is such a popular sport now!
