2007 Merc ELPTO 50 idle issues

My 50 does not want to idle. When trimming the engine dies. Once warm the engine does idle trimmed all the way down but once the trim is raise it starts the sputtering then dies. On an interesting note, when attached to the hose at home the idle seems to stick or increase up to 1500-1800 in neutral while flushing the engine. Any ideas?

Checked fuel system up to the carb, hoses looked good, bulb in good shape. Cleaned the plugs and checked the gap.

The engine still dies when trimmed, any help?
