Having issues with fuel delivery. Motor starts well and runs okay but it bogs down when I hit the throttle. I have new clean fuel. I have replaced all of the fuel filters, carb. has been cleaned, fuel pump has been replaced. Problem persists...Could the fuel rocker arm that drives the pump off of the cam shaft be the problem? Is this servicable?

Does it bog down as soon as you hit the throttle or is there a slight delay then it bogs down, or bogs down after you're at throttle for a bit?

Sure you're not sucking in any air between the tank and the engine?

I doubt seriously it's that arm. My bet is it's sucking air somewhere or possibly the fuel line is collapsed. Do you have another fuel line you could try?

You say it bogs when you "hit the throttle", have you tried doing that while somebody is squeezing the primer bulb?

(On the muffs).... When I hit the throttle, the motor sputters and skips for a moment, then it revs. up slowly, but it does rev. up fairly high. (On the water)...When I hit the throttle, the motor sputters and skips for a moment, then it bogs down, lacks power, and won't rev. up.

The fuel lines and primer bulb are new and fairly rigid...I do not find any air leaks. The fuel vent is open on the fuel tank.

The primer bulb is hard and full of fuel...When I run the motor while squeezing the primer bulb, there is no difference in performance at all?

So it does not sound like it's a problem getting fuel TO the carburetor, but getting that fuel from the carburetor bowl into the engine. The carb bowl should have enough fuel to run the engine for a couple seconds. The first thing I'd do is check the float level to make sure that's appropriate. If that's good then I'd suspect the fuel-flow circuits inside the carb are gummed up or partially plugged.

As I read, I a fixed to "has been cleaned". I have 'cleaned' so many carbs in my day just to re-clean again. Dirt and crap can come from anywhere no matter how meticulous you've been. Specks can come from inside your lines, a corner of the bowl, anywhere, and slightly plug up your high-speed jet orifice. I'd give it another look.. Just like Km11.. said, fuel circuits maybe got junk in em'..
