On my boat after I get it warmed up good and at idle 650rpm I get an alarm goes beep and engine rpms drop along with oil pressure like motor stalling out. Then it catches itself and everything come back up as normal. Only does it at idle bring rpm off idle it does not do it. What could this be. Thanks for any help

Could you revise this comment?

Could also use an engine serial number.

Is this a solid beep of just a quick one? Any more comments of what is happening could help

It is just a quick beep rpms drop like going to stall out then jumps back up to idle. It the same beep that goes off when I turn key on to start

Don't know why its so hard to get info from folks wanting help.

The black scorpion comes in a 350 mag and 6.2 versions, also different serial numbers are used based on parts used. Most the stuff is the same but not all.

Look for a vacuum leak, there are hoses going from the plenum to the fuel pressure regulator. Check the IAC for build up and remove IAC muffler to see if its clean

OK, that is a piece of info that helps. This makes me think even more it may be the IAC being gummed up. It reacts but not fast because of some crud. Need to have a look to find out
