2006 90 throttle adjustments ??

I would like to tighten up the adjustments so it is more responsive for trolling. a lot of play and up and down. Can I do anything so when I throttle down or up it reacts quicker?

Any comments appreciated I love the boat and motor just the throttle frustrates me.

where is the play? In the controller, cables, or the motor linkage?

The throttle handle has a lot of play before you move trolling speed up or down. I can move the handle over a .5 inch up or down when trolling and nothing happens. Then I bump it more and it will go to fast or to slow. I would like to tighten something up but don't know where to start.

You are going to have to look to see where the slack is, could be in the controller ,cable , or linkage
