2006 90 hp Optimax Question

Big unit where fuel pump and Fuel filter screw into. What is that called. and how exactly does it operate the fuel from Fuel pump to Fuel Rail????

I have wondered the same thing . I thought it had something to do with pressurizing the fuel, but not for sure. I pushed the "valve stem" in and just a little gas and pressure was in it????

Maybe somebody will enlighten us

NEVER MIND....Found out what that has in it. Fixed Problem. Time to go Fishing.
