OK, so swapped out the batteries for new ones today, cleaned all the connections and was real happy when I hit the key the first time and it fired right up.
Turned it off, waited a few seconds and hit it again. This time though it just went <CLICK> and nothing else. Pulled the top off and could definitely hear something click when I turned the key.
Went back, checked the fuses and so on and it seems to be getting power. Did notice that when I hit the raise/lower switch I got the same clicking sound.
Outboards are definitely not my specialty, but the 1.5 in cube on the front of the motor seems to be the source of the sound.
Any ideas what is up?
