Hoping someone can help me out. The motor is definitely overheating. I have replaced impeller and performed compression tests on cylinders. Pressure is OK. I have replaced thermostat.

The motor will overheat at Idle. Not sure where to go from here. I'm wondering if I have an exhaust/water issue after thermostat?

The motor will run fine at low rpm's only if I remove the Water Return Hose from the leg/ engine holder(not thermostat end, other end of hose). Is there supposed to be pressure coming up from where the hose connects to leg? When hose is connected it seems like I have to much back pressure preventing water to exit past thermo.
