2005 optimax beep while cranking

Hello i have a 2005 optimax 115... at the beginning and all through the day all is good but towards the end of the day ill get the regular beep but i will get another when i start to crank the engine, when it happens it will startup and run fine with no other beeps good telltale etc i have read this could possibly be a low voltage alarm, i use a 24 series 625 cca battery should i go to a 27 series 800 cca 1000 mca battery?

Gee, an owner's manual or service manual should help you decipher the beep, as it is meant for you to know what the motor wants.

Optimax's usually have water monitors in their water separators. These beep when they detect water. There are other kinds of warnings (beep patterns) as well.

If the motor starts quickly, the battery is likely fine.

Maybe i shouldve stated i have read on the beep system and yes i understand what the continuous and beep patterns mean but i didnt see anything on one short beep only when cranking the engine but in my reading i did see a guy that had the same thing but only on his first start of the day mine happens toward the end of my day...i only asked because i never saw anything real clear cut about it...my vesselview comes today maybe that would be more help...
