my 2005 merc 60 horse 4 stroke has tilt power, but wont turn over.

Welcome to the forums...the folks here will help you out but you need to provide a bit more info to get it. Post the SN or model/hp/yr at minimum.

hi mate first check all leads from battery to starter are clean and tight (black and red ones) if seem all good try using another fully charged battery as these 4strokes need a bit of a kick to turn,if no result with other battery remove flywheel cover and see if you can move flywheel back and forhth abit to make sure she is not seized ,make sure the key is off when you do this,try these things first my money is on your connections,let us know how you go cheers dunc333 downunder

The 2005 60 horse efi four stroke, still wont start. Fuses are good. Charged the battery and checked the kill switch. Have tilt power strong but the engine won't even try to turn over. Not to savey, but the engine worked fine until we left the radio on to long and drained the batt. Pulled the batt and it has a good charge?? any ideas?

If you mean you turn the key and nothing happens probably the neutral safety switch. I you have a remote starter switch (HF cheap) and put one lead on Batt + and the other on the yellow/red tracer on the starter solenoid and if it cranks (pull your emergency stop lanyard) you have a problem in the wiring or defective NSS. Or you could try wiggling the remote control back and forth just a little while still in neutral while turning the key to the start position. If this cranks the motor problem is probably in the remote control.
