2005 Larson senza.

Just purchased boat as is. When I turn key on an alarm sounds and won't go off. Is this normal?

My Larson 186SEi does that, too. It stop as soon as the engine is running.

the alarm is there for a reason.......

if it is on when the motor is running....check the drive oil....and the motor oil.

Welcome to iboats. We like information. Turning a key can mean you have it in accessory mode or started the engine. Also, do you really think boaters drive around with an audible alarm all day as 'normal?"

Larson sent me a link to an online manual; probably not for your boat, but I found it helpful even for my '97, so I bet it's even more appropriate to your newer model.
