2005 Johnson 4 stroke

I just left my local Boating supply dealer in fayetteville NC, I was informed they could not get parts for a 2005 Johnson, is this a issue with johnson are they miss informed, do Suzuki parts interchange with Johnson, They said to try and find them online...Thanks

Should be the same as Suzuki.-----What parts are needed ?-----Yes the availability of spare parts from the " new age " corporations can be a problem.----I just ordered 2 crankshafts to fit 1961 model 5.5 HP Evinrude / Johnson.----No problem.

at the moment just looking for the spark plugs an a oil filter, I will be looking for some anodes when my manual comes in, not sure which one I need until I can see a detail parts diagram, Replacing the water pump next week, I already have the pump

A good BRP dealer would have the filter in stock.-----NGK sparkplugs should be easy to find as well.-----Anodes are listed as available as well.

my manual will be here Tuesday, I will get the #`s from it and order what I need online. It has been awhile since I did any PM on this motor because it has set for 5 years except for me going outside and cranking it for exercise.

Your motor is a suzuki, commonly called a "johnzuki". Don't buy suzuki oil filters, they love to leak and corrode. Find a cross reference chart and buy a good quality filter for cheaper from the auto parts store. They should be able to get you spark plugs as well. Most DF series parts will fit, except for control cables, wiring harness, and ECM.
