2005 Evinrude FICHT 175hp

I had Ilan injector stick open and flood the crank case. I found one new injector on eBay and had the local Evinrude dealer replace it. When it came time for the live test I noticed a running miss at high RPM. Engine has lost approximately 25% of its thrust . Local techs have no clue since the computer is posting no codes. Evinrude engineers best guess was to replace all the injectors . As everyone knows BRP no longer makes parts for this engine . Has anyone out there encountered a similar problem ? I run steep water and need 100% confidence in my power.

Go back to the old basics and do a cylinder drop test on it when it's acting up.

Did the tech update the ECM with the new injector's Serial #?

You're certain the replacement Injector was actually 'New'?

Need to check compression on that cylinder. If pintle broke on injector it went into cylinder and it could be damaged....

2005 Model E175FPLSDS. Compression on all cylinders is good, 115#. good voltage, 36v. Fuel pressure good, 31#. Did a drop test at idle all cylinders functioning well. I can’t say for certain that the replacement injector was certified new however it appeared to be unused.
