2004 yamaha 150hp 2cycle wont run properly

Late spring start up idle ok, Lauch @ ramp approx. 400 yards off landing easy on throttle in stages about 1/2 throttle died, would start and feather of choke, on and off would stay running but as soon as closed quit. Back home changed filter 10 micros, blow out tank air vent-ok. seems to run ok @ 12-1500 rpms. But still will not idle.
If im feathering choke on and off to keep running @ idle seems to be air/choke problem.
Last falls gas approx. 50 gals treated/w/marine stay bilt and seafoam. oz. to gal ratio correct.
Gas smells and looks ok but not ruling out as problem

Try running on a test tank with fresh fuel.

check spark and compression.
then dump the tank,clean the fuel lines, replace the fuel pumps then clean out the crbs and go boating.
cant help tight money but if you keep running it lean the expense of the repairs magnifies rapidly.
last falls fuel is TRASH dont care what ya put in it.
DO NOT add MORE gas as it will just be more trash gas to get rid of.
when you hit the choke you BYPASS ALL fuel circuits and force the system rich.
can ya tell me the difference betwen using oxygen/acetlyne for welding,heating and cutting?
same in your combustion chamber.
