2004 yam 50hp 2str will not idle

I flipped the emer fuel enrichment to open and the engine is fine and idles great but when I flip the switch to normal it will not idle...any ideas??? Thanks

your carb idle circuits are clogged. time for a carb job and dont forget the fuel pump.
if you dont have a 10 micron filter now would be the time to add one.
