Fairly new Johnson 150, smokes a little much at start-up and idle, I'm no mechanic but I've had lots of OMC outboards over the years and never seen one smoke like this, runs a little rough at idle too. Is there an adjustment on the VRO Oil injection? I've done the caluculations for oil consumption based on 50:1 and compared it to the amount fuel I'm using, it apprears I'm using about twice as much oil as I should, assuming a constant 50:1.

Any thoughts?

The VRO pump is not adjustable. With a 150, you are probably running from a built in fuel tank. A fuel restriction will cause over-oiling. Check the anti-siphon valve in the fuel tank. Your engine need's a 3/8 fuel line with matching primer bulb. Is that what you have?
