My Tahoe's trim will work down and will trailer up. I just bought the
Boat so I'm new to how the trim button feels. To me
It feels nothing like the trim down button and basically feels like the only
Selection once you Press up on it is the trailer position. Any
IDEa what the problem may be. I took the cover off the trim
Limit switch and it looks dry and in working order. Thanks

Hi Boatman, I don't understand your problem.

The switch has 2 positions & what can be described as 2 clicks going up & down.
The first click you feel is to trim the drive when out on the water.
If you then press harder 'through' the first click you'll then be in the 'trailer' or low tide anchoring mode to raise the drive fully.

Does that make sense:confused:

Ditto to what Marcoalza says, you have to depress hard enough for the click then continue to press, the wife always forgets this when loading. I think it's a safety measure. Hope this is the problem. I also bought an '04 Q4 f/s last year and am finally getting rid of the bugs. Keep posting, this site is a goldmine of info from very experienced and knowlegable folks.
