I'm getting some age on me and not as spry as I used to be. I need a stable boat with an open floor plan so I can move around without having to step over a center bench. I fish southern lakes so don't need anything big, but storms can move in quick and a large lake can get surprisingly choppy, and I need to be able to handle a crazy wake boat now & then.
Going to look at a 2004 140 Pro Mag. I will do an on the water checkout. I know that some of these leak, some don't. It has a 2004 Merc 25. Not my favorite motor because I don't like the shifter built into the throttle, but if it runs well I can live with it.
Anything special I should pay attention to when looking it over?
