2003 seadoo gti le rfi bogging on acceleration buts runs fine on lift

Have a 2003 gti le rfi and it has been running good all summer. Had a person recently run through a weed bed from a stand still while applying full throttle. Machine is now bogging down with the throttle applied at take off and the machine will not even hardly move. Cannot see anything blocking the jet tunnel area and the wear ring had just been replaced and still looks fine. The machine seems to fully accelerate when up on the lift when I push the throttle to full. Could this just be a coincidence and I may have a bad spark plug or is there something else that may have been damaged as the person tried to accelerate through the weedbed? Please help.
