I found this on iBoats. If this is true, my oil pump could be causing all my issues. My engine seems to be stuck in this low oil pressure mode?

Is the red LED on? You can put a mechanical gauge on and check pressure.Low oil pressure causes low speed ESG at 2800. You said you couldn't get above 2000. I would revisit the carbs.

So the motor is not detecting low oil pressure. I would go through the carbs. Again. Thoroughly.

Found the problem. At the beginning of this entire process the first thing we did was rebuilt the carburetor’s. After that didn’t work, I spent almost $1000 throwing parts at it and hoping it would work. Finally, after sitting down and thinking about why carb number two was bone dry, I followed the fuel lines and realized carburetor number two was not getting any fuel. There was literally no fuel line going into carburetor number two. It turns out after the first rebuild, I put call number three onto carburetor number two and vice versa. This turned out to be my downfall. Cobb to was not receiving any fuel therefore it felt like a limp mode. That’s what I get for being a rookie LOL
