2003 Mercury 60ELPTEFI Oil Filter Part #

Does anyone know the correct part # for a replacement oil filter for a 2003 Mercury 60ELPTEFI Oil Filter. The closest Marina wont give me the part# but they will sell me one for $40, seems a little rich. Even a quicksilver or Fram part # will do. Thanks in advance.

It’s best to have your engine serial number to help locate the correct parts for your engine model as anything else would only be a guess as there are usually a few part numbers to choose from even with things like an oil filter.

Looks like the replacement part # is listed at $13 and change.

Went to a different marina, the Mercury part number now crosses to 8M0162829. Still a little pricey at $24 Canadian, I picked one up for now. I am sure Fram must make the same.

Yep thats how much they are now in Canada. The price has doubled since covid. Merc announced an 8% price increase beginning May and another in July.
