2003 F225's Carbon from exhaust

Just spent ten days in the Keys and engines ran great but I noticed after running about 3800-4200 RPM's for a half hour and then turning the engines off, they would spit out what looked like a carbon deposit upon restarting the engines. I bought the boat used with about 400 hours and had both engines serviced immediately. I use ring free each fill up and the engines run great but the carbon spit concerns me. Anybody have any insights?

Probably just carbon deposits breaking loose from inside the exhaust system. If the motors run fine then I wouldn't worry about it. If you start to see metal pieces, piston rings, etc. coming out, then you may have cause for concern.

Where is this motor spitting the carbon out at?

I believe it came from the prop exhaust. I've owned the boat for about 4 months and 75 hours of operation. Engines run great, but I read these horror stories and get paranoid.
