2003 9.9EL 4 stroke won't start

All-

Hope this summer is treating everyone well. I finally got my kicker on, and of course it won't run.. This is my first attempt to getting it to run, so here is what i've done.

Spark - Yep
Fuel - Nope

I get fuel to the Carb, ( checked the lines at the fuel filter and they had fuel) but not feeding the engine.

( i did get it to fire by spraying in a little starting fluid)

My thought at the moment is that since it has sat for awhile that the carb is gummed up.

Suggestions??

I think you are on the right track, Tim.

Could be fuel supply, lines, pump or carb.

simple fix,

the jets in the Carb were gummed shut, so after a little cleaning and TLC she fired right up!.
