If I have a good hot stream coming out of the teltale when the engine is running on muffs does that mean my cooling system is A ok?
Reason being is that I removed the prop and if i stick my finger above the prop shaft I feel a whole leading up with exhaust coming out. No water comes out of that exhaust even after running for 15 minutes.
Water comes out a small hole on the lower shaft to the right of the oil vent screw which I think is just a drain hole and that water is not hot at all.
Also I attached a picture of the back of the shaft. There is a piece I get a very little bit of steam or smoke out of. Not sure what it is suppose to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
