Hello -
I am new to this forum. I have a 2002 Four Winns with a Volvo Penta 5.0GXi engine.
The belt tensioner is failing and I need to replace it. The VP unit is crazy expensive. When I search for it, I get a link to a Dayco brand unit from Advance Auto.
It looks very similar to the one on the engine, I can't imagine that there are too many variations out there?
Does anyone know if there is a less expensive alternative to the VP one? It's over $200, where the dayco unit is $35.99!
Thanks!
