I did try to google OE specs.
Did the 2002 come with the Bravo II outdrive or the Bravo III....5.0 engine.
or with either?

I'm finding it came with a single motor (8.5 beam) either a 5.0 or 5.7.

My guess is it was a dog with a 5.0 and did ok with a 5.7

It had enough beam for a BB but don't see any that had it, and if it did it would run pretty good

As for the drive it could come with either. Friend had about the same year and size Bayliner with a 5.0 MPI and B2 drive. Never saw how it was helping but that's what it had

thanks,
Just thought that the '02 240 searay was supposed to have the Bravo III.
wanted to check.
other comments seem to infer that this boat would have performed better with a Bravo III....
...and of course a bigger engine....always.

did you look on SeaRays site at the old brochures? you used to be able to see all the specs by year

surprised the sundancer didnt get the 6.2 liter like other 24' boats in the searay lineup like the sundeck
