2002 Remote wiring info needed.

Have a 50HP 2002 Mercury. There is a 5 pole plug on the Remote control.
Can anyone direct me as to the use of each of the color coded wires in the plug. The gray I believe is for the Tach. The tan with a stripe is for a warning lamp or buzzer. I am hoping that the purple is to power instruments with ignition on.
Would appreciate any help.

James, Black is ground, Purple is accessory wire (+12VDC), red is unfused +12V, black/yellow is ignition killer, yellow is +12VDC for starter solenoid Choke solenoid is yellow/black.

Chris, I think he is talking about the 5 pin plug for the tach

jimg you are correct. I am talking about the 5 pin connector from the remote. Sorry if I was not clear Chris.
