I apologize...I meant that the leak, if there is one, could be getting worse and affecting operation. If I had a motor that I thought was getting water in a cylinder I would not run it until that problem had been addressed. Water can mess it up pretty good and why risk a decent powerhead that may still be repairable.
I have the gaskets on order right now and also a carb rebuild kit, maybe that could be the problem? Could the Dunks decarb have messed with the carb and got something jammed up or should I be looking elsewhere? I just don't see how it could have been running so good last time I took it out and after a simple decarb and prop change it stalls out under acceleration....
