2002 FICHT 250

Running twin 2002 250s on 28 HS, both engines burning about twice the amount of oil as usual. Starboard engine quit running, restarted then quit again. No lights, warnings- engine just quit running. Anyone had similar experience, or know what we could check before sending to shop? Engine will still spin over but not run.

Sounds like a cool rig,,<br /><br />What happens when you sqeeze the primer bulbs ? do they run awhile ?<br /><br />Also pull the motor covers off when you squeeze the primer bulbs,and look for fuel leaking.<br /><br />DHP

Actually posting for my brother who is in florida on vacation. Haven't been able to get in touch with him today. Will have him check that when I talk to him. Ever heard of this happening before? Changed plugs and filter still no good.

How mechanical is he?Maybe it is better to go to a repair shop ? It is his vacation.<br /><br />DHP
