I’ve tried to search the web and found limited info on these. It seems the ebbtides were good production quality boats and I’ve found this particular model in what appears to be in very good condition. It shows 185 hours and has the Volvo 8.1L with dual props and the lovely thru hull exhaust. I think the price is still ($27,500) but the market is high and it appears to be in great shape and checks my personal boxes(without making the 4 plus hour trip to inspect it). It’s got the fiberglass floor, efi, swim platform and walk through transom the wife and I desire. We’re upgrading from a 220hp Larson 206(98’) and after improved condition, more room and the above features. It does include a “custom matched trailer”.

I know ebbtide as a company has went under and been a yo-yo but if it didn’t effect the quality of the boats I’m not too worried about it. I’m mechanically inclined and I have read the posted inspection lists here as well and having my Larson for almost 4 years that helps a little as well. I view this as a major investment though and appreciate all the insight I can gather.

And only by in person inspection. A paid surveyor is an option.

Doesnt matter how good a boat Ebbtide built, for 27K its still all about current condition.

Pix can only show so much, requires hands and eyes on the boat.

I totally agree, but if the condition is very good is the ebbtide a good enough boat to warrant the asking price etc? It’s 18 soon to be 19yrs old. It’ll have to be in above good condition I’d assume to warrant the investment.
