2001 Mercury 150 saltwater series crankcase cover stuck

Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks on how to get a stuck crankcase cover off? I removed the powerhead, removed all the bolts holding the crankcase halves together including the top and bottom covers, and it won’t budge. I’ve tried prying at the pry points but haven’t had any luck. Looking for suggestions.

8-3/8", 4-5/16" and 4-1/4" removed?.. next up will be mallet or rubber hammer............
