2001 115hp Evinrude Ficht alarm but no code

Hello all,
Yesterday on the way back to the ramp, the boat wouldn’t get on plane. On the way out, got on plane no problem. We were going into a strong head wind and the motor is underpowered for the boat, so I didn’t think much of it.
After about 5 min, at full throttle my alarm sounds and check engine light comes on.
I reduced throttle, alarm and light go off.
Once we were in the creek, out of the wind I gave it full throttle and she got on plane, alarm and light went off again. Reduced throttle and they went off.
Got her on the trailer and back home.
Turned the key to on, but no codes are flashing. The gauge goes through the normal procedure when turning it on.
Any ideas????

sorry for my english does "going off" mean "came on" or turned off


I gave it full throttle and she got on plane, alarm and light went off again CAME ON ??) .

Reduced throttle and they went off. ( went dark)

After reading it myself, it did sound a little confusing.

I’ll look into that.
The tell tale seemed normal under idle, but not sure under load.
