2000 Starcraft 1710 Floor removal to access gas gauge sender

Gas gauge tests ok, so need to test the wire and possible replace the sender. Does anyone know how to remove the floor above the tank - floor section runs between the seats from the back of the ski locker to front of engine compartment. Really hope to remove it without destroying the carpet. Thanks

Need some pics of what you're working on to give the best advice. I'd be leaning towards cutting a hole in the deck and adding either a hatch or a spin out deck plate over the sender.

Removing the decking would require a serious amount of work that normally requires replacement of both the decking and for sure the carpet.
