I have had this boat for less than a year and barely got any use out of it. Ran it a few times then started giving issues. Would turnover but never crank. Thinking it was fuel I changed fuel filter, water separator, and bulb. Didn’t help.
Well recently brought it to a guy who works on boats on the side and he found that the kill switch cables that are on the harness to the cylinders were slightly melted. But only 3 cylinders were like that. But that is also the 3 cylinders that do want to fire not the others..he thinks it could be ecu related since it’s trying to ground out? so he suggested to bring it get the codes checked which is my next step before I start throwing parts at it. Was just wondering if anyone here had heard of such an issue?
Thanks!

find yourself a different guy.. tha "kill switch" circuit kills everything ign. related not jus certain things (3 of tha 6 cyl's).. if ya have 3 cyl. firing is gonna be either stator and/or motor control module (not ecu) more than likely....
