2000 mercruiser 5.0 fuel consumption

I have a 1985 wellcraft walkaround , 22.8 ft weighs around 3600lbs. It has a mercuriser 2000 5.0 EFI in it with a bravo one drive.Wondering what the fuel consumption should be? I usually run anywhere between 3000 and 3500 rpms?

At that speed, probably around the 25-30 litres per hour mark...

check your gph on this web site . looks like 7.9-10.0 but is general.

If your getting 2 to 2.5 miles to the gallon your doing good. Good way to see if your burning fuel efficiently is pull the plugs and have a look at the color
